Mothers Day Gift Ideas

Botanical Tea Folding Card
Happy Friday everyone.  Its almost Mothers Day over in the US and Graphic 45 are sharing a few more perfect projects over on their blog today.  There's a fantastic tag tutorial from Nicola and one to go with my Botanical Tea folding card (above). I was in fussy cutting heaven making this card and had a real shall I shan't I moment when cutting out the fern leaves.  My plan was to just cut around the shape but I just couldn't do that and ended up cutting around each of the fronds …….. how long did that take lol!!!  Anyway Happy Mothers Day to all Moms everywhere.  Enjoy your day.

Botanical Tea Folding Card
I'm off to see Nina and 16 of her ladies at Crafting Times on Sunday to host a G45 workshop.  Looking forward to seeing you all ladies.  Enjoy your weekend too and look forward to catching up again soon :-) C

  5. Clare, you put us all to shame with your patience......it must have taken you ages to cut out those ferns. I hope that you give it to a well deserving friend when you eventually part with it. Just been to post an 8"x 8" card to South Africa and it cost £3.80 would you believe. Apparently they have to go as parcel post now so I'll be making a few more of those folding cards as they will be just as nice but cheaper to send. Those papers are lovely and I really must treat myself. Have a great time at your workshop am quite envious . Hugs Pauline A xx

  7. Good evening Clare and what a fabulous project you have for us today. Hope you don't mind but I have already stolen your idea for a card I need to make. I'm actually just taking a break from all the fussy-cutting at the moment and it seemed the ideal time to pop onto your blog. It's a fab tutorial and everything is going according to plan (so far)! Hope tomorrows workshop goes well. Thanks for sharing this with us and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening. Take care
    Margaret A.
